One of North Carolina's rarest natural treasures is back!
Our Rare Purple Honey is a remarkable and highly sought-after honey sourced from beehives in Eastern North Carolina. Unlike traditional golden honey, this extraordinary variety features a naturally occurring purple hue that makes it one of the most fascinating and elusive honeys produced in the region.

What makes Purple Honey so special? Even experienced beekeepers cannot predict when or where it will appear. Its unusual color has puzzled researchers for decades, with theories involving local nectar sources, soil conditions, and environmental factors. The exact cause remains a mystery, making every harvest a rare discovery.
Beyond its captivating color, Purple Honey offers a distinctive sweetness, often described as having subtle fruity or berry-like undertones. Its flavor and appearance make it a memorable addition to any honey collection.

Naturally rare and available only when we're fortunate enough to source it, our Purple Honey is a special opportunity to experience one of North Carolina's most intriguing agricultural treasures.
Whether you're a honey enthusiast, a collector of unique foods, or simply curious about this remarkable natural phenomenon, ENC Honey's Purple Honey is something truly special.
